More Bruges shots
This is definately a place where I could have spent a few more days.
Mom, I want to ride a boat! I don't condone this behavior, but when in Rome.... Yes that's mayonaise, and the frites are from one of the more famous stands in the country.  Quite yummy actually but this meal was one of the reasons I had to rent a bike later in the day.
Here's home base Bruges, Isn't this a cool Internet Cafe?  From here I did some email, sipped an espresso and figured out how I'm going to get from Amsterdam to Copenhagen to Stockholm to Oslo and back.  Thank goodness for the Internet, I don't know how I would do this trip without it.
Here's my "This is all you need in Bruges" picture...your journal, blue skies, Rick's book and a beer (that's a Blond Strong Henry -brewed on site).  Do you realize that that in addition to "OK" and "Taxi", "Beer" is one of the few univeral words?
I admit, one of the reason's why I liked this town so much was my room was HUGE, double bed, kitchen table, chairs, quiet, TV, 53 euros and a very cool Chris Deloof as the owner.  Chris didn't speak much English, so between my bad French, his good French and our broken English, he told me to ride a bike to Holland, so I did!
